Marc Lefkovits
Marc was born in Brazil and grew up in Venezuela where he worked from a young age in the family businesses on weekends and summers. It was during these experiences with the family’s real estate ventures when he developed a passion for real estate. Marc came to Atlanta in 1992 to attend GA Tech (Georgia Institute of Technology) where he received his degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering.
Marc was recruited by General Motors out of college where he worked for seven years. During his tenure with GM, Marc received various awards for his achievements and was given several promotions. In 2002, he received the Chairman's Honor award for his role in a major project that achieved a significant Order-to- Delivery lead time reduction and savings. Chairman's Honor is the highest recognition offered to GM employees.
In 2003, Marc obtained his real estate license. At the same time, he partnered with his father and a brother to create the LEFKO Group. LEFKO Group's core business is real estate development and investments. The group does most of its work in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody. Through the LEFKO Group, Marc is also a partner in Custom Building Group (CBG), a joint venture launched in 2007 to build high quality new homes in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody.
