Tomas Lefkovits
Tomas grew up in Venezuela, South America after his family emigrated from Europe after the War. He was raised in an entrepreneurial environment. His parents built high rise condominiums, strip malls and single family homes.
Tomas obtained his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering at New York University. Later he obtained an MBA from Mercer University and a M.S. in Finance at GSU.
After graduating as an engineer, he worked in foundations in New York City and then in offshore construction for 8 years in Brazil, Trinidad, Bonaire and Venezuela. He managed over 600 people in multi-million dollar pipeline projects. He was the youngest pipeline project manager the company ever had.
At 31, Tomas began his entrepreneurial career by founding the first and only chain of automated carwashes and car service centers around Venezuela. He also managed and grew the family’s real estate holdings. He went on to become the President of the Chamber of Commerce of his state, and a director of the National Chamber of Commerce in Venezuela.
In 2003 he co-founded the LEFKO Group, an Atlanta based Real Estate Investments and Development Company, with his two oldest sons. He is also a partner in the Custom Building Group (CBG), a building company that specializes in high-end quality custom homes in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody. Tomas is also active as an investor in multiple other business ventures.
He has been active in social causes, human rights committees and the Jewish community. He is currently President of Hemshech, the Atlanta organization of Holocaust Survivors and their Descendents.
